American Re-Insurance Company announced that Joanne Bintliff-Ritchie has been appointed Senior VP of the Corporate Resources Division and a member of the Senior Management Group.
She succeeds Anthony Kuczinski who was appointed President of Munich-American Risk Partners, a division of American Re, last fall. Bintliff-Ritchie will also serve as head of Human Resources succeeding Bob Humes, who announced he will be retiring from the company in April.
As head of the Corporate Resources Division, she will report to Wolfgang Engshuber, President, Corporate Centers of American Re. Human Resources, Am-Re University, Change Management and Corporate Facilities divisions will report to her.
“Ms.Bintliff-Ritchie has 24 years of experience in HR management, organizational effectiveness, change management, team dynamics, employee relations and employee development. Most recently an independent consultant,” said the bulletin. She was previously VP, Human Resources, at McKesson Health Solutions in Princeton, NJ and before that she held various HR positions with AstraZeneca, CIGNA Corporation, and AON Corporation.
