Donald DeCarlo, president and chairman of the American Society of Workers Comp Professionals, Inc. (AMCOMP) announced that the association will present Dr. Robert Hartwig at networking and luncheon event being held at The Regent Hotel Wall Street on Thursday, April 24, from 11:45 a.m. – 2 p.m. The luncheon is being co-sponsored by The National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) and The Insurance Federation of New York, Inc. (IFNY).
As the keynote speaker, Hartwig will provide a provocative presentation on “Workers’ Comp: The Industry’s Quiet Crisis.” Hartwig is senior vice president and chief economist of The Insurance Information Institute.
According to DeCarlo, “Dr. Hartiwg will provide insight into the state of the workers compensation system while touching upon new exposures and challenges that the insurance industry is now faced with. He will also provide his outlook for the insurance industry as it relates to new and emerging trends and developments in the field of workers compensation. This is another initiative AMCOMP is taking to provide its members substantial opportunities to interact with other industry professionals on cutting edge issues as they affect the industry.”
