Maryland-based RewardsPlus, a leading provider of benefits management technology, announced that Robert J. Mannarino has been named President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Tom Keller, the company’s acting President and CFO, will remain with the company as Executive VP and CFO.
“Mannarino has more than 25 years experience leading and building outsourcing and technology businesses, including HR, benefits, insurance, payroll and accounting with companies such as ADP, Citibank, Checkfree Corporation, CDI Corporation and ICT Group,” said the bulletin.
“Our mission is to be the leading provider of comprehensive benefits management solutions,” Mannarino stated. “Over the last six months, we have added more than 1.1 million lives to our BenfinitySM platform. Now we’re in a position to accelerate our growth.”
Dennis Shaughnessy, Managing Director of Grotech Capital Group and a member of the RewardsPlus Board, commented, “We are delighted to have someone with Bob’s background and track record leading the company. Bob is the right person to continue RewardsPlus’ growth and success.”
In his new role, Mannarino will focus on growing RewardsPlus’ share of the benefits technology market. “RewardsPlus’ Benfinity is the most comprehensive, innovative and cost-effective Web-based benefits management solution in the market today for employers,” he indicated. “Benfinity also provides a significant advantage for brokers by facilitating the administration of core and voluntary benefits into a single source. “
Mannarino was formerly President and COO of ICT Group, a customer relationship management services company, where revenues grew over 25% during his tenure to $298 million. He was also COO of CDI Corporation and worked in Checkfree Corporation’s Investment Services Division. He has held active management positions for Automatic Data Processing (ADP), Citibank, Intel and General Electric.
