The Professional Insurance Agents of New Jersey Inc. announced that it has packed the two days of its 5th annual March CE Madness program “with comprehensive continuing education programs that cover a wide range of topics, relevant to today’s insurance industry.”
Insurance agents and brokers will have the opportunity to earn up to 15 CE credits to renew their licenses. The program will be held March 25-26 at the Clarion Hotel & Towers, Edison, N.J.
March CE Madness will feature nine education sessions—taught by top industry instructors—and include the following topics:
– New Issues, New Policies and New Exclusions—Part I & Part II taught by Patricia Murray, CPCU, CIC, CISR, AAI, AIS;
– E&O Liability: Developments & Emerging Trends and E&O Liability: Identifying the Risks, Managing the Risks, and Defending Against the E&O Claim taught by Robert Sullivan, Esq. and Peter Biging, Esq.;
– Insurance Fraud taught by Sheldon Hansen;
– A Principal Decision—Technological Trends, Opportunities & Weaknesses (An Important Agency Management Event) taught by Keith Savino, CPIA;
– Transferring the Liability Risk: Contracts and Additional Insured Endorsements and Ethics for the Insurance Producer taught by Cathy Trischan; and
– Surplus Lines taught by Kevin Engelke and Frank Seigel.
“For the past five years, PIANJ has offered insurance producers an outlet to earn all the CE credits necessary to renew their licenses in one convenient location,” noted PIANJ President John D’Agostino Jr., CIC. “Each year we examine the industry and listen to the recommendations of our members to provide instruction on timely topics they suggest. This year is no exception.”
In addition to earning CE credits, participants also have the opportunity to attend networking luncheons to broaden their contacts in the insurance industry.
