ISU International President, T.J. Ryan III, announced the addition of the newest member to ISU’s national network of agencies – The Holdren Group of Plymouth Meeting, Pa.
With more than 90 branch offices, ISU continues to grow under the guiding principle of providing professional independent agencies with the strengths and resources of national firms.
The Holdren Group writes risks across the Eastern United States and consists of three divisions: the benefits department; the traditional risk management & retail property and casualty department; and the alternative risk transfer department, which focuses on designing creative approaches to handle the complexities of larger, national accounts.
According to Mark Lunney, the agency’s vice president, joining ISU will enhance the agency’s success in handling current national accounts as well as bringing aboard new ones:
“The recent tumultuous conditions of the marketplace has led us into larger accounts which require unconventional risk management strategies, so having a base of knowledge and resources like ISU’s is a tremendous help,” said Lunney. “Also, now that we have a national image to present at the point of sale, we immediately become more attractive and credible to other national accounts we hope to pursue.”
The new ISU branch office specializes in the contracting, medical, manufacturing and hospitality industries.
