Acordia Inc., a Wells Fargo Company, announced that Barbara Gubitose has accepted the position of senior vice president for Acordia’s Risk Finance Group. This group specializes in the areas of directors and officers, employment practices, fiduciary liability, crime, and environmental risk identification, evaluation and solutions.
In her new role, Gubitose will act as an additional national resource for Acordia and Wells Fargo customers and prospects and will be based in Boston.
Most recently, Gubitose held the position of senior vice president for Marsh FINPRO in the Northeast. Prior to that, Gubitose served as the Northeast regional underwriting manager for National Union Fire Insurance Company (AIG) in Boston. She was responsible for the underwriting of all commercial and financial institution management and professional liability business for the region.
