Michael P. McNamee has been named vice president of business planning and analysis for Harleysville Insurance. In this position, he is responsible for the development of the company’s annual business plan, financial modeling and forecasting of results, and monitoring the financial performance of Harleysville’s regional profit centers and corporatewide functional areas.
Before joining Harleysville, McNamee was vice president of financial analysis with XL Capital in Exton, Pa. He also has held finance leadership positions at CIGNA, Kemper and Reliance. McNamee has more than 25 years of experience in the property/casualty insurance industry in functions such as actuarial, claims, product pricing, collections and financial analysis.
