    Another joke from the King of Tax States. What the hell does this program do other than reward the \”less fortunate.\” What if you are already paying for health care at work? Are you paying twice? Like I have said before, why don\’t we all just quit our jobs, sit on our behinds and let the Dem\’s take care of us? Oh, one more thing: Does this cover the illegals, too?

    Mark, I completely understand your point and yes, I am my agency offer benefits. Nevertheless, this is not the reason why I support forcing everyone to get coverage. To even validate that point, I do not accept inrresponsible clients and the agencies that will benefit from this law are the agencies that target these type of people. I am good at screening out the time wasters and these are the type of people who talk about getting coverage, but never get it. Gerneally, people who do not have coverage now will not get coverage in the future and those are the people I pass up because they will always have a tough time swallowing spending hundreds a month for the coverage.

    Having said that, the only way to get people to pay for their medical bills is up front because they will always find a way to weazle their way out of it after services have been rendered. These are bad apples, they will hire attorneys or downright file BK to get out of it. Even putting them in jail will not solve the problem, because it will end up costing us more to do so. The bottom line is, we have to treat people, most espicially if their life is threatened.

    I favor requiring everyone to get it (privately) or pay a high enough tax where the government will contract with a private company on that persons behalf to get coverage. While this is not a perfect solution, it is a soilution and its only fair that everone pays their fair share for healthcare, insteaf of forcing us to pay hundreds of dollars more a year to take care of these freeloading losers,

    Anything that forces everyone to get health insurance is good law because the very people who don\’t get health insurance are the one\’s who are making me and you pay for their healthcare. As long as the free enterprise is allowed to particate without overburdening the taxpayers is sound to me. While some people say they don\’t need coverage, if something happens to them, we all pay for it.

    Hmmm… a law that forces individuals to purchase health insurance. Sounds very good for any insurance agent selling health lines.

    Seems to me that people support the laws that are beneficial to themselves, no matter the impact on society. The problem with this mandate is that it forces a personal choice on individuals.

    If you think this will decrease health costs, look at mandatory auto insurance laws. Everyone thought that if everybody was insured, the premiums would go down. Didn\’t happen. The individuals that were uninsurable risks cause everyone\’s premiums to increase because they are now in the system. The autobody shops like the laws because they can increase their prices. With a third party (the insurance company) paying for the damage, the insured doesn\’t care what it costs, as long as he isn\’t paying for it.

    Let\’s pass a law that makes people pay their medical bills, or go to jail. I don\’t care how much they make or how many children they have. IT\’S NOT MY PROBLEM, AND THEY SHOULD HAVE TO PAY THEIR WAY!

    REWARD RESPONSIBILITY;
    PUNISH IRRESPONSIBILITY!!!

    Sounds Great! What a deal…Just pay $295 per employee to the state and them I can drop group health insurance for my employees! If you think health insurance is expensive now…wait till it\’s free!

Look at the world around you, poorer countries than U.S.A. have waaaayyyyy better healthcare, goverment funded. WAKE UP… or at least remain silent choke on your idiotic words and then see how much it wil cost you to have your airways reopened. Idiots…
