Selective Insurance Company of America, a subsidiary of Selective Insurance Group, Inc. has several officer appointments including naming Scott Hewitt to senior vice president, commercial lines strategic business units.
Hewitt joined Selective in March 2001 as vice president and region manager of Selective’s Chesapeake region office.
Also, Allen Anderson has been name vice president and product manager for Selective’s personal lines operation. Anderson joined Selective in March 2006. Prior to that, he was senior state manager of Encompass Insurance, a division of Allstate.
Andrew Becker is now vice president and director of commercial
lines pricing. Becker joined Selective in April 2001 as managing actuary for Selective Risk Managers, the company’s large account operation. Prior to that, he served as vice president for professional liability treaty pricing for Gerling Global Reinsurance Company of America.
Kimberly Burnett has been appointed vice president of human
resources. Previously, she served as assistant vice president of
Selective’s Leadership and Professional Development initiative.
Abbe Cesari has been named vice president of the Business
Practices Group. Previously she served as assistant vice president and manager of commercial lines development. Cesari joined Selective in 1983.
Jonathan Oltmanis now to vice president of the mercantile and services strategic business unit. Previously he served as assistant vice president for small business.
