GoodWorks Insurance, LLC announced that the first insurance client under its recently established insurance brokerage agreement with Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, Connecticut (HRH) was written on behalf of the Hancock Shaker Village located in Pittsfield, Mass.
This insurance program is the first to be written under the joint venture between GoodWorks Insurance and HRH on behalf of a major non-profit organization.
GoodWorks Insurance will provide insurance services to the Hancock Shaker Village through its local Great Barrington, Mass. office, while HRH will provide the insurance services and market access only available from a large national broker.
GoodWorks Insurance was created with a marketing model that focuses on giving back to its surrounding communities. Through a patent pending business method, GoodWorks Insurance donates 50 percent of its operating profits to local community charities in the areas of education, healthcare and safety.

Hancock Shaker Village, Inc., is a private, not-for-profit educational organization that brings the Shaker story to life and preserves it for future generations.
