GEICO insurance company announced it would add nearly 800 jobs at its regional headquarters in Stafford County.
The facility, one of seven regional offices, employs about 3,000 people and already is one of the Fredericksburg area’s largest private employers.
Adding the staff will continue through the end of the year and into the first half of 2007, Theresa Livelsberger, GEICO human resources director, said. The jobs will be added in all of the company’s departments.
