The Insurance Agents & Brokers Service Group held its annual meeting Oct. 17, marking a year that included the inception of the Delaware Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers Inc. into its organization.
The Insurance Agents & Brokers Service Group is the management arm of the Delaware Association of Insurance Agents & Brokers Inc., the Insurance Agents & Brokers of Maryland Inc. and the Insurance Agents & Brokers of Pennsylvania Inc. The Mechanicsburg, Pa.-based trade association represents nearly 1,600 member agencies. It is affiliated with the National Association of Professional Insurance Agents and the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America.
The recent merger of associations in Delaware was noted as a key achievement. As such, Immediate Past Chairman Tony L. Bennett presented Chairman’s Awards to Jeff Good, John Yasik and Nemith.
“Jeff, John and Kevin were instrumental in the creation of DAIAB,” said Bennett. “Their vision, leadership and drive will better the experience of independent insurance agents throughout Delaware for years to come.”
