Lockton Companies, LLC, ranked the largest privately held insurance broker, has expanded its New York brokerage team with the addition of Kenneth McKenna as senior vice president of the Employee Benefits Practice. Susan Johnson joins the staff as vice president for the Property Insurance Practice.
McKenna is responsible for consulting services for Lockton’s middle- to upper-middle market client organizations served from the New York office. Relying on his 30 years of experience in the employee benefits field, he oversees a team that evaluates clients’ current benefits plans, liabilities and budgets, and health and welfare liabilities. Additionally, McKenna assists private equity clients in the analysis of employee benefit plans of potential portfolio companies.
Immediately prior to joining Lockton, McKenna was a senior vice president with Aon Consulting. His background also includes several consulting and senior-level positions within Aon, Sedgwick James, Alexander & Alexander, PepsiCo, and Mutual Life of New York.
Johnson oversees the design, marketing, and implementation of property programs for both domestic and multinational clients. She has more than 25 years of experience in the property risk field.
Before joining Lockton, Johnson was senior vice president and team leader with Willis Risk Solutions’ Property Practice. Prior to that, she held various underwriting and leadership positions with such companies as Marsh, American Reinsurance Co. and the Protection Mutual Insurance Co..
