Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers says an arson task force is looking at four fires set at the front doors of occupied homes.
They were set this month and last month in South Philadelphia. Ayers says he fears someone will be hurt if this keeps up.
He also says this shows the importance of having a working smoke detector on every floor of one’s home. He says it’s important for all members of the family to know how they’ll get out in an emergency.
