Connecticut Man Loses Arm in Industrial Accident

Police in New Milford, Connecticut say an employee at a composting plant has lost his arm in an industrial accident.

The victim, whose name hasn’t been released, is identified by police only as a 29-year-old Danbury man.

Police say the accident occurred at New Milford Farms Wednesday and the victim’s right arm was completely amputated.

He was taken to the Westchester Medical Center, where his condition is not known.

It’s also not known if surgeons were able to reattach his arm.
