New York-based specialty insurer Valiant Insurance Group has added three new executives to its management team.
Scott J. Bayer joins as senior vice president and head of Valiant’s casualty division. Lori Marino joins as senior vice president and head of the management liability division. And John Henry Moy joins as vice president of the energy and marine division.
Bayer and Marino have both been tasked with setting the strategic direction of their divisions and will report directly to President and CEO Gary Dubois.
Bayer previously served as senior vice president at Liberty International Underwriters, and prior to that as vice president at Caliber One Management Co.
Marino served previously served as senior vice president of ACE USA’s Professional Risk Group in New York, and prior to that she held production positions with Kemper Financial Solutions and Zurich’s executive assurance division.
Moy joins Valiant from XL America Inc. where he served as regional underwriting manager in charge of marine and offshore energy. Prior to that, he served as junior naval architect with Gibbs & Cox Inc., where he had interned while attending US Merchant Marine Academy.
