Aon Risk Services reports that Christopher Scontras has joined the firm’s New England office as a senior vice president.
In that role, Scontras is responsible for client development and fulfillment opportunities in risk management, insurance brokerage and consulting services, particularly supporting clients with enterprise risk management needs and those in the energy sector.
Scontras brings to Aon 27 years of experience in risk management and insurance consulting, sales and client service. He joins Aon from Bank of America in Boston, where as a senior vice president in the Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency he developed an integrated insurance delivery model aligned within Northeast Middle Market bank channels.
Prior to his tenure at Bank of America, Scontras was New England Area president of Arthur J. Gallagher. He also held several roles with Marsh, leading regional power & utility and other industry-specific efforts.
