PMC Insurance Group has introduced a new workers’ compensation program for the health services Industry.
The Needham, Mass.-based workers’ compensation wholesaler said the program is aimed at a broad spectrum of classes such as home health care providers, visiting nurses associations, hospice and palliative care givers, social service organizations and assisted living facilities.
According to PMC’s David Malloy, this segment of the market “has always lacked capacity and finding placement has been difficult.” He said PMC’s program addresses the needs of small independent operators as well as larger regional and national players.
The product includes loss control and safety provided by the carrier and also incorporates a convenient web based risk management/loss control platform.
