Natick, Massachusetts-based insurance agency Eastern Insurance Group has appointed David H. Chase Jr. and Craig E. Dunlop as vice presidents in commercial lines sales.
Both will be based out of Eastern’s new branch office in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Chase comes to Eastern Insurance from Aon Risk Services (ARS) where he was vice president, having spent 14 years at ARS, working in the New York, Boston and Providence offices. Chase has extensive experience in developing new business and managing large and middle-market property and casualty risk management programs for national accounts. Chase primarily focuses on the retail, manufacturing, real estate, and construction industries.
At Eastern, he will be responsible for developing new business opportunities as well as managing large to middle market accounts in the Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts area.
Dunlop also joins Eastern Insurance from Aon Risk Services, where he spent the past seven years designing, marketing and implementing risk management programs for national accounts. He has extensive experience in manufacturing and retail risks, specifically high hazard and hard-to-place product liability risks. At Eastern Insurance, he will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and brokering large accounts in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts.
Honorably discharged with the rank of sergeant from the U.S. Army, Dunlop began his insurance career in 1995. He worked with a small independent agency for several years before taking a position at AIG as the regional manager for its international operations. He eventually became the business development manager for domestic insurance operations at AIG before moving on to Aon in 2001.
