The American subsidiary of a United Kingdom-based auto insurer says it’s going to open an operations center and bring 40 to 50 jobs to the Richmond area.
Admiral Americas and the Greater Richmond Partnership announced the news. They said the office should be open by the end of the third quarter in September. The operations center, which will support direct sales to consumers, is expected to employ about 200 people after two years.
The company is a subsidiary of Admiral Group, which describes itself as the United Kingdom’s third-largest auto insurer.
