Fireman’s Fund Launches “Green” Homeowners Insurance in Maryland

Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. has introduced its ‘green’ insurance product for homeowners in Maryland.

The coverage, which is available in 32 states, includes 5 percent discounts for homeowners who already own houses with environmentally-friendly features. The coverage will also pay to upgrade houses with green features after a loss.
