Insurance regulators in New York are warning agents and brokers not to conduct any business with American Transport Insurance Co.
The company is not admitted to do business in the Empire State and is not an eligible excess line insurer, according to the Excess Lines Association of New York.
Earlier this month, the New York State Insurance Department issued a “no stamp” order, after discovering the company had solicited agents in the state.
