New York-based insurer Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE) says it will begin offering property and casualty insurance coverage to owners of high-value homes in Connecticut.
PURE, which is a member-owned reciprocal insurer, has also received licenses in Maryland, Georgia, Alabama and the District of Columbia. It currently sells coverage in Florida, South Carolina New York and New Jersey.
The company provides homeowners coverage as well as automobile, jewelry, art, personal liability and watercraft insurance.
