The Hanover has appointed Michael H. Lee as branch vice president for Commercial Lines for the company’s New Hampshire and Vermont markets.
In this new role, Lee will lead the company’s efforts to strengthen its presence in these states by partnering with independent agents. Lee, who will be responsible for all commercial lines underwriting and sales activities, will be based in Bedford, N.H.
He joins The Hanover from Acadia Insurance Co., where he served as assistant vice president and branch manager for the company’s commercial lines business in New Hampshire. Previously, he served as director of marketing for the Manchester, N.H. and Lowell, Mass., offices of Hilb Rogal & Hobbs, one of the country’s leading brokers. Prior to that, Lee served in various underwriting and business development positions at Fireman’s Fund Insurance and Royal & Sun Alliance.
