now we are going to start with homeland security putting in the xray machines in our bars! oh, and its mandatory for those criminals to be patted down in front of the whole crowd…

what is this guy thinking? first of all, he’s not allowed to carry a weapon. secondly, why should the bar at anytime search anyone, because they could have had a concealed weapons permit. this guy just could not afford the bills and felt that w/a stupid lawyer, it was ok to file a lawsuit to get lots of money!

ROFL, because this guy truly ended up hurting himself in many ways!

Whatever lawyer took this case and filed the lawsuit should be thrown in jail and disbarred, forever.

Loser should pay all lawyer costs. How much you want to bet the bar or its insurance co. got stuck with a lawyer bill?

they should have killed each other! If I had sat on this jury, I would have put them away for a LONG time, including the ambulance chasing lawyer that took the case, after he (she) was disbared!
There would have been no charges, financial r otherwise against the Bar or their insurance company. The plaintiff and his attorney would have paid all defense andd court costs out of their pockets!

And if the patron was patted down, he would be screaming civil rights violations.

People, people…let’s all take a deep breath. The case was thrown out. Calm down.

I could calm down if I hadn’t just had a case thrown out of court after I paid my lawyer $10,000

I can’t remember the last time I was searched for weapons prior to entering a bar….hmmmm….maybe it will come back to me.

Sued by a client claiming violations of the Fair Claims Practices Act. As an agent I certainly was not involved in the handling of the claim but it took two years of depositions before a judge agreed. Could maybe have let the company’s lawyer represent me too but felt that might leave me open to get dumped on somehow if the company saw a way to share their loss.

since you paid out of pocket, now can’t you get the company to pay the lawyer fees, since it was tossed out of court? you’d have money back in your pocket…
