“Bad luck” is hardly how one should characterize the activity of text-messenging while behind the wheel of a car in motion. This guy
was reckless and paying no attention whatever top what he was doing
while behind the wheel. His “good luck” is thast it will cost him only $100. and 2 points (which will increase his auto insurance premium) and that it wasn’t a person he ran into. Making or receiving cell phone calls is just as dangerous for most motorists to engage in.

Wow, a whole $100.00. Now there’s a tough penalty. Maybe he’ll pay the fine with the loose change on the floor of his vehicle.

Sorry for the typos folks. I do get over-anxious while typing a bit on the silly things people do that divert their attention to the operation of their vehicles, and my arthritic fingers sometimes go places they were not intended to go.

33 yrs old and texting? Get a life! And, he should get more than just 2 points and a $100 fine. Community service at a morgue where people were killed by people who were texting…that might get the point across..

So he made the stop at the stop sign….then as he pulled out, he was texting? I know he should not be texting at all….BUT if is is going to text….why not send the text while sitting at the stop sign?

ok, so the city can now sue the person he was texting because he was having a conversation with the person driving a vehicle…

oh — that was a different state looking for bigger pockets… but then again, with today’s society, it could happen!
