    So people who CHOOSE to live in a disaster-prone area shouldn’t pay more for their insurance? These legislators would rather have all the smart folks who stay away from the coast subsidize the (typically rich) coastal dwellers. Limit of one deductible??? Why??? Do they limit the standard deductible to one a year? No. If I have a burglary in January and a fire in August, I pay two deductibles. A risk is a risk, what’s the difference???
