I know that his parents are proud of him. I am proud of him and I don’t even know him. I hope that adolescence doesn’t change him. It is so nice to read such a feel-story.
What a great story! Wish there were more out there like that.
Great kid. I’m just surprised the cops didn’t shut him down for not having permits and paying taxes, etc.
Actually, he could move back two feet into the front yard. Then Dad could deduct the portion of his square footage of the stand from his mortgage payments as a business expense!
I would like to pay homage to this boys parents / mentors. This was a fantastic idea. The fact that he had the foresight to accomplish this shows that he has the potential to be a great part of our future. I enjoy reading these articles and keeping up with the children who make a difference. Goes to show that the world is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
Did he have to provide the town with the proper hold harmless agreements, certs and surety bonds?
He’d make a great agent, wouldn’t he?
That is just the sweetest thing! It really brightened an otherwise ordinary Friday.
thank goodness the cops didn’t put a stop to it.
His lemonade stand? He didnt build that! His teacher, Principal, Mayor and who ever built the sidewalk built that!
“Hope we Change” 2012 NOBAMA!
