New York-based brokerage firm Frank Crystal & Co. has appointed Walter S. Tomenson III as producer and executive director. He will report to John Smith, executive vice president of Frank Crystal & Company. He will be based in New York City.
Tomenson joins from Integro Insurance Brokers where he produced, covered and retained relationships with private equity firms, hedge funds, large commercial corporate clients, and high net worth individuals.
As a principal and the private equity and M&A practice Leader at Integro Insurance Brokers, he produced and developed corporate business, managing and maintaining relationships with over 100 private equity firms and hedge funds.
Tomenson began his career underwriting environmental risks of M&A and complex property transfers with AIG Environmental. He later moved to Marsh’s FINPRO PEMA (Private Equity Merger & Acquisition) practice, where he negotiated financial products and transactional risk for private equity firms and Fortune 500 companies. He is a former president of the John Street Club, a professional insurance industry networking organization founded in 1946.
