Woodbridge, N.J.-based broker NIP Group has promoted industry veteran Donna Jantzen to the position of president of its programs division, a growing national specialty insurance intermediary and service provider.

NIP Group said that during Jantzen’s tenure, the NIP programs division expanded from one to 11 distinct industry programs with four different carrier partners. The company noted that she was instrumental in developing sophisticated underwriting operations and controls, which have helped to enable the division’s aggressive expansion.
Jantzen is a past president of Insurance Women of Ocean County, N.J.; a former officer of Independent Agents of Ocean County, N.J.; and a charter member of the New Jersey insurance commissioner’s insurance education advisory board. She is also a recipient of the Insurance Woman of the Year Award, given by the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW).
NIP programs division develops and manages business insurance programs underwritten by major insurers for industries with specialized insurance and risk management needs. The division helps to develop unique underwriting, loss control and claims service models for clients and insurers.
