Another pampered millionaire athlete whinning about something he knew about since he started playing peewee ball. YOU WEAR A HELMET FOR A REASON STUPID.
One question Mr. Mott: If the NFL had warned you, would you have stopped playing and earning your salary?
I didn’t think so.
Pathetic.
I agree, it is common sense that repeated injury to the head is going to have lasting complications. Football players are the whiniest of all professional atheletes. Its plain ridiculous!!
Sounds like Mr. Mott should have opted for education versus sports…maybe he would have learned in the classroom that you can become injured playing football! Why are cases like this even allowed in a courtroom?
I guess when the coach said “Come on Mott, get your head in the game” he took it literally.
That was hilarious, Cheetoh!
Thanks Big Mike. I will be appearing all week.
I can see the handwriting on the wall. Soon NFL will read NFFL – National Flag Football League. .
I think they should start suing that the NFL did not inform them that sleeping with hookers gives them STD’s and staying out all night boozing it up can cause a hangover the next morning. The NFL is obviously an incapable and uncaring employer and all employees should just get up and leave and go work someplace else. Any takers? Didn’t think so.
Where is the common sense people???? Really??? You didn’t realize that hitting your head repeatedly could cause damage????
Aren’t these contract employees?
Wow, who would have thought being tackled to the ground time after time would cause head injuries? Futhermore, who would have thought that after time, numerous concussion would cause lasting effects? Wow.
Um here’s a nifty idea… Football is typically a contact sport so if you don’t want to be hurt perhaps knitting would be more of your forte.
I love Football (Well I love the Packers…) but come on. You knew what you signed up for and if you didn’t have the common sense to know that it may have lasting effects, then perhaps it is not just football related head injuries that are you problem! .
Everyone knows that playing football can cause permanent injuries, to your head, spine, knees, etc. This is all about MONEY. While playing in the NFL, the majority of these athletes make an enormous amount of money but also live beyond their means with no forethought about their future or life after football. Chad Johnson being one of the latest being reported as having “no money”. Seriously??? Work 7:00 am – 4:30 pm factory job every day..heat, cold, sore back, knees, etc for minimum wage and very few benefits. Do you think during the 100 degree plus temps this past summer they have someone coming around squirting Gatorade in their mouth becuase they are just to tired to squeeze the bottle for themselves. Yeah right… have a little cheese with that whine.
