“Some argue that this caused residents in the Northeast to not realize the danger of the storm that did billions of dollars in damage.”

The same ijits will still think that the warnings are a ploy by the media to generate viewers and will continue to have their heads up their dunes.

My theory is that the National Weather Service was asked not to issue those warnings by certain politicians that did not want Insurance Companies to use the Hurricane deductibles on their policies. How does the NWS not issue warnings? How confident were they that this was not going to be a Hurricane when it hit land? The wind speeds were sustained at 80 miles an hour when it hit NJ. Hurricane force wind start at 75 miles an hour. So basically Politicians put people in harms way to avoid higher deductibles!! Has anybody ever heard the term Superstorm before??
