No wonder Washington makes such great decisions. We’ve got Senator Colburn from Oklahoma questioning FEMA’s coastal risk evaluations. I’ll bet Senator Rubio from Florida is the Senate’s avalanche expert.

Since Oklahoma voters subsidize coastal NFIP policy holders, they have a stake in their own policy costs and from the billions of dollars in NFIP debt from Hurricane Katrina already held by the government.

The disfunction of the NFIP is in large part to past Congressional decisions. I’m happy someone is asking tough questions.

“Change the maps back so my voters don’t have to buy flood insurance so i can screw the rest of the country out of it’s tax dollars AGAIN the next time it happens” This country is in the crapper!
