Funny, KY and NJ (R governors) are showing strong enrollment numbers. What can Fox News do now to try and bring a hault to the reform? Maybe The House should have another vote.

What kind of results do you expect when it is now illegal to be uninsured and then make millions of people eligible to free or subsidized insurance? Opposition to the ACA comes from those who are opposed to the socialistic direction being taken by our government. We were just creeping along towards socialism but now the ACA has provided a giant leap. I’m thinking of quitting my job, enrolling in Medicaid, collecting my entitlements and moving to Colorado to eat the brownies. I hope there are enough people with sufficient incentive left to keep working to support me in my new lifestyle.

Sounds like a great plan OB. Just one thing. On entitlements there’s no way you’ll be able to afford the brownies.

Live high on the hog with that $4 a day temporary SNAP benefit. Please define Socialism when mentioning it. Then you’d realize that we actually aren’t “creeping along towards socialism” in any way, shape or form.

Thanks Comrad, On second thought I should get a prescription for medical brownies and lobby to get them covered under the prescription drug plan then my $4 will go farther.

On the contrary, we’re creeping towards a third-world system where the nation’s wealth and power are becoming much more concentrated in the hands of a relatively few wealthy elites. The ACA brings more back to the people; however, universal healthcare would be more effective. Canada is doing quite well; in fact, their middle class is better off than ours. Now how can that be? They pay higher taxes and have socialized healthcare! What a bunch of commies! They’re right on our doorstep. It’s time to print the Lord’s Prayer on every piece of currency! It’s the only way to stop the godless commie hordes! They’re everywhere!

          Leslie:
Time for a Stalin purge – get rid of the rich, educated and professionals? Time to nationalize to get free health care so we can be as prosperous as Cuba and experience the brotherhood of North Korea? Time to go to Canada and freeze our butts off (20 below keeps the riff-raff out) while standing in healthcare lines comparable to our VA hospitals? Not me, I’m going to stay in third world America and stand up against creepy socialists.

If you consider putting people on Medicaid, sure it’s working great. There is a difference between health insurance and health care. Medicaid is worse than the VA. The people reporting have all the stats except exactly how many are insured and how many are entered into Medicaid. It’s a shell game.

Actually, there is no difference. Very few doctors will accept Medicaid patients. It’s an illusion that there is coverage.

Not sure what’s not to like. Do you actually believe Medicaid is good health insurance? Please, wake up. I’ve been dealing with the PPACA, Medicaid and CHIPs for 8 months. None of them are well designed or well executed, by states or the feds.

I’m all for helping people with healthcare, but these programs a there to make policitican feel good about themselves.

When you go from no healthcare to medicaid, I’d call that an improvement.

Eh? Americans will actually sign up when healthcare is affordable? Guess that let’s the hot air out of the windbag(s) for 2014 GOP mid term election platform.
