Cook Maran & Associates announced the firm’s claims and risk management practice leader, Jiyun Yuh, received the Outstanding Educator Award at the Insurance Society of Philadelphia’s annual awards banquet on May 14. Cook Maran said the Insurance Society of Philadelphia recognized Yuh for her significant contributions to the continuing education programs.
Yuh joined Cook Maran in 2011 with 22 years of experience in claims management and loss control. As the firm’s claims and risk management practice leader, Yuh coordinates claims and loss control programs for Cook Maran’s largest clients and prospects.
Founded in 1901, the Insurance Society of Philadelphia is a non-profit organization whose primary purpose was to provide an arena for the exchange of ideas within the insurance community. The society now offers courses and workshops that provide education in the insurance, legal, and financial fields. The society has over 200 member companies and is an administrator of industry-wide events.
