Classic, short-term, political thinking. This is a reaction, rather than a general interest in mitigation and does not address the issue of the wrong weapons in the wrong hands. The biggest culprit in this issue is the USA and its lack of adequate accounting and controls for weapons and equipment we disburse.

Gotta love the Dems: it’s the aircraft’s fault they can be shot down vs. simply not flying over a civil war zone. Has it occurred to either one of these guys our Military aircraft aren’t “missile proof”?

Instead of spending billions to try to make a jet missile proof, spend thousands and reroute around the war zones. The aircraft are not the problem.
