Maybe it is just me, but if my heated seat was too hot, I believe I would pull over and get out long before it burned me. Maybe that is too common sense for some folks. Perhaps she is the same woman who sued McDonald’s on the hot coffee suit.
This suit is a load of crap and a first in the automotive defects arena. Why have the heated seat on at all if she can’t feel anything from the waist down? I wonder if her attorney can produce charred seat covers to prove his case. Maybe after he poured lighter fluid on it and set it on fire.

Yes, however, if the seat were that hot, heat would have been radiating so that she could feel it with the parts of her body that still had functioning nerves.

She evidently didn’t know it was on. This happened in June on the way to the beach.

She wouldn’t have known it was too hot until it was too late.
That being said, GM gets sued all the time. What makes this particularly news-worthy?

Awesome Dude!
Guess that opens up a whole new meaning to “being on the hot seat”.
Hot pants.
We are a callous bunch. ;)
Probably from sitting too long…..
Now she knows how GM’s creditors felt.
Burnt!
“Verrill grew up in Yarmouth, Maine, and now lives in Texas.”
Now we know what kind of people Texas is attracting.
From one armpit to another.
