AssuredPartners Inc. announced that it has acquired Roehrs & Company Inc., an independent agency based in Exton, Pennsylvania. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Roehrs & Company was founded in 1923 by Walter E. Roehrs Sr., and current operations are under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Gil Roehrs. The agency focuses on commercial property/casualty, employee benefits, and personal insurance offerings, and offers expertise in the wood products industry.
In addition, Roehrs & Company is endorsed by USRowing, the national governing body for the sport of rowing in the U.S., and offers specialized insurance products to its members. The Roehrs team of 12 will maintain its presence in its main Exton office as well as in the Greenville, South Carolina, office.
Based in Lake Mary, Florida, AssuredPartners acquires and invests in insurance brokerage businesses (property/casualty, employee benefits, surety and MGU’s) across the U.S. and in London. From its founding in 2011, AssuredPartners has grown to $550 million in annualized revenue, with over 125 offices in 30 states and a London office.
