Allied Insurance Brokers Promotes Mason to Senior VP in Pittsburgh

Allied Insurance Brokers, a retail property/casualty broker based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, has promoted Sue Mason to senior vice president. Mason heads Allied’s Client Services and Marketing department.

With Allied since 2008, Mason most recently served as vice president and will continue managing Allied’s staff of account representatives and account executives. She also nurtures various company relationships, serves as an account executive for a large book of business, works directly with the sales and marketing staff to maintain and increase renewal retention and new business hit ratios, and is a member of Allied’s Executive Team.

Mason’s insurance career, and her three and a half decades worth of experience, began with various insurance carriers, including Nationwide, Aetna, and CNA. In 1980, Mason moved to the agency side and was employed with several large agencies.

Mason’s primary focus has been large commercial lines marketing and placement with a focus on the construction industry, operations management, and customer service.
