NY seems to always be the first to pass new regulations regulating anything and everything. Perhaps some of the EPA people who have been busy passing bad regulations for years can get a job with NY.
So you are against creating a set of standards that hold a financial institution accountable, when handling your personal private information? Given the amount of cyber crime, with no let up in sight, I think some regulation would be welcomed by a reasonable person.
