I hope this truly comes to pass. I work at a title company and the “under the table” charges that the buyer has to pay is obscene. The attorneys get kickbacks from the title company for business, closers rape the buyers and sellers for “pickup” and “attendance” fees, etc.etc. My company is scrambling trying to get around giving gifts, football tickets, hockey tickets, etc.etc. to those low-life attorneys

Unfortunately, its companies like yours that take advantage, that hurt the us good guys that does everything by the book. And now we get slammed for it!

how about the fact that Nassau and suffolk counties have “marked up” their recording fees by 10 times in the last 2 years to account for not raising taxes; the consumer is hit with literally thousands in recording fees at a closing with no advance notice…….thats obscene and the DFS and the Governor have done and said nothing because they would lose constituents if they raised taxes instead of these little known fees. and “marie” needs to get a job where her conscience is clear.

It seems Marie has no problem working for a company that she so strongly disapproves
of their business ethics. Where they spend their profits is a business decision – all companies strive to improve their business with customer attention and appreciation. No one has the right to decide how one spends their paycheck.
