InsWeb, an Internet-based seller of insurance, announced that 21st Century Insurance Company is now offering products through InsWeb’s site. The Woodland Hills, Calif.-based insurance company expects to initially provide policies through InsWeb in California and soon in the other western states of Arizona, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
InsWeb is accessible through 147 sites on the Internet, including Yahoo, MSN, Go Network, Snap.com, Looksmart, and E*TRADE. InsWeb also operates marketplaces for health, term life, homeowners and renters insurance.
21st Century Insurance Company is a wholly owned subsidiary of 21st Century Insurance Group. It has traditionally marketed its auto and homeowner products direct-to-the-consumer.
