Crawford & Company International Inc. announced that it has opened a new office in Auckland, New Zealand, which will operate as Crawford & Company New Zealand Ltd.
Stephen Pomfret will serve as managing director and additional offices and staff will be added later. He indicated that “Crawford is establishing a network of quality loss adjusters to handle claims throughout New Zealand. All of our clients can expect the highest standards of expertise and service from Crawford.”
Richard Martin, Crawford VP and managing director of the Asia Pacific region commented that Crawford’s first priority “is to support the local market,” and said that Crawford’s presence in New Zealand would also “help us serve our multinational clients,”
“Crawford has operated in New Zealand for more than 15 years through a representative,” Martin stated. “At this time, we believe the best decision is to open our own corporate office in that country.”
