Munich-American RiskPartners, a division of American Re-Insurance Company, and a member of the Munich Re Group, announced that is shifting the underwriting and marketing functions for its Canadian clients to the North American headquarters of American Re in Princeton, New Jersey.
The announcement took pains to confirm the company’s “commitment to the Canadian alternative market while reducing some of its operations in Canada.” President Anthony Kuczinski indicated the move was being made to improve efficiencies.
“The business will continue to be serviced in Canada,” Kuczinski explained, adding, “We assure our clients that Munich-American RiskPartners remains committed to the Canadian marketplace and that they will continue to receive the highest quality service.”
The restructuring will take place during September.
