Online travel insurance provider, InsureMyTrip.com, announced the addition of International SOS to its comprehensive site. The new service “provides medical assistance and transportation to travelers should they experience an illness or injury while traveling anywhere in the world.”
InsureMyTrip’s bulletin indicated that SOS and its Global Traveler product fits very well with the types of coverage the company provides. It’s the 12th company and 35th plan that InsureMyTrip markets online and “clearly demonstrates the company’s commitment to providing the most up-to-date products for the traveling consumer.”
International SOS “has an established on-the-ground network of alarm centers, clinics, air ambulances, doctors and nurses to render help when and where it is needed. The SOS Global Traveler product can be secured either on an annual membership basis or on a per trip basis,” said the bulletin.
“Our clients are looking for increased protection these days,” commented Peter Evans, Executive VP of InsureMyTrip. “The SOS Global Traveler product is a wonderful standalone or supplemental coverage, which when combined with a trip cancellation package policy yields substantial overall protection and benefit. We are extremely pleased to be working with International SOS. They are a true industry leader and provide that extra sense of security while traveling in these most uncertain times.”
