Arch Capital (UK) Ltd., a subsidiary of Arch Insurance Group (U.S.), announced that it has expanded into construction and engineering insurance with the appointment of Anthony Reilly as Construction All Risks/Erection All Risks (CAR/EAR) Underwriting Manager beginning Tuesday, May 4.
“In this new role, Mr. Reilly will have the responsibility for developing an international portfolio of CAR/EAR business,” said the bulletin. He was previously senior construction and engineering underwriter with SCOR UK, prior to which he held similar positions with Allianz, Eagle Star and Prudential.
“Tony’s appointment allows us to offer a broader service to our clients. We see CAR/EAR as a valuable opportunity for us to reinforce Arch’s reputation as a specialist in the construction sector,” stated Robert T. Van Gieson, president & CEO of Arch Capital (UK).
