Zurich announced that Susan Yee has joined its business unit providing insurance and risk management solutions in emerging markets as marketing manager in Hong Kong.
She will be responsible for marketing and underwriting support for Zurich’s political risk and credit insurance solutions in Asia.
“Susan adds substantial depth to our team, which delivers solutions tailored to the Asian market from multiple Asian locations,” stated Daniel Riordan, executive vice president and managing director of Zurich’s emerging markets unit. “Zurich’s presence in Asia and our reputation in the industry will allow Susan to collaborate with a host of customers and partners to customize innovative solutions that protect investors from political and commercial risk in emerging markets.”
Prior to joining Zurich, Yee was manager of channel management with HSBC’s corporate and institutional banking division. She has also worked at the Export Finance and Insurance Corporation (EFIC), Australia’s export credit agency, where she was manager of product development for its structured trade and project finance division. She also served at EFIC as a senior underwriter in the export credit insurance division.
Yee holds a Bachelor of Arts in economic history and politics from the University of Sydney and a Master of Business in marketing from the University of Technology, Sydney.
