Aon Re Services Global Accident, Health and Life announced that Eduardo Jean-Mairet has joined the Life practice group as Director – Structured and Traditional Life Reinsurance (Europe).
“He will use his expertise and the resources provided by Aon Re Global to expand and develop business with life and health insurance companies in Europe”, said the bulletin.
“Mr. Jean-Mairet has had a long and distinguished career in the life reinsurance business,” the announcement continued. “He is a member of the Swiss Actuarial Society and was employed for the last 28 years at Swiss Re Group occupying various executive roles in the United States and Switzerland. His most recent assignments at Swiss Re were heading the Financial Solutions departments of Swiss Re New Markets and Swiss Re Life & Health. In the latter role he was responsible for European, Asian and Latin American markets to which he traveled extensively.”
His efforts will be supported by a team of Aon Re Services Global life reinsurance experts, both actuaries and account executives, resident in the Global Life Reinsurance Practice headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut USA and its United Kingdom office in London. He will based in Switzerland at the offices of Aon Re (Switzerland) and will report directly to Joseph F. Kolodney, managing director of the Life Reinsurance Practice.
