Bermuda-based Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. announced two key management changes. Effective immediately, Thomas D. Bell has been named Executive Vice President of Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd., and David S. Cash has been named President of Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd.
“In his new role, Mr. Bell will assume corporate responsibility for compliance, operations and marketing, said the bulletin. “Mr. Cash will assume operational responsibility for Endurance’s Bermuda based business.” He will also continue in his role as Endurance’s Chief Actuary.
Chairman and CEO Kenneth J. LeStrange commented: “As our company has grown, we have developed a number of subsidiary operations and specialty business units that require continual focus to ensure appropriate compliance with external and internal requirements, as well as operational effectiveness. Tom’s key role in the development of Endurance, and particularly in the development of our Bermuda based subsidiary, suits him well for these new responsibilities.”
“Since the formation of Endurance three years ago, David has been a key participant in the development of our strategic and underwriting capabilities,” he continued. “In his new role, David will continue those efforts while taking responsibility for Endurance’s insurance and reinsurance businesses in Bermuda.”
