The Board of Directors of Transatlantic Reinsurance Company, a subsidiary of Transatlantic Holdings, Inc. announced the election of new officers at a regularly scheduled Board meeting.
The bulletin gave the following details of the appointments:
Chicago: Timothy O’Connor – Vice President
Sydney: John Byrne – Assistant Vice President
Hong Kong: Samson Chiu – Assistant Vice President
London: Mark Jackaman – Assistant Vice President
New York: Daniel Boisvert – Secretary
Transatlantic Re is headquartered in New York, with operations also in Chicago, Toronto, Miami (serving Latin America and the Caribbean), Buenos Aires, Rio de Janeiro, London, Paris, Zurich, Warsaw, Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Tokyo and Sydney.
AIG owns 59.3 percent of Transatlantic Holdings. Its subsidiaries, in addition to Transatlantic Re, include Trans Re Zurich and Putnam Reinsurance Company.
